We remodel and alter clothing in Gatineau with a focus on fit, fabric reuse, and thoughtful design. Every project begins with an assessment so the work plan matches the garment's condition and construction.

Garment Remodelling with Purpose

Stitch & Style helps clients update garments they already love, from vintage pieces to sentimental clothing that deserves a second life. Our work includes redesign consultations, dress and skirt remodelling, shirt and jacket restyling, fit updates, and fabric-reuse accessory projects.

We give clear scope notes before work begins, and the final quote depends on the garment, materials, and requested changes. If matching thread, trims, or other materials are needed, they are confirmed separately based on availability.

How We Work

Built around repair, reuse, and practical garment redesign, our workshop supports customers who want to keep clothing in use for longer. We work carefully with each piece so the result respects both the fabric and the original garment.

Founded in 2016, Stitch & Style grew from a simple idea: well-made clothing should not be discarded when it can be altered, restyled, or remade into something useful again.

Founder Liam Dupuis shaped the workshop around clear communication, written alteration scope, and hands-on review before approval. That process helps keep each project realistic and aligned with the garment's structure and available materials.

We accept repair and redesign projects in Gatineau and welcome customers who bring their own garments or materials for review.

We begin with a garment assessment so the work plan reflects construction, fabric condition, and fit limitations. That helps set a realistic scope before any redesign or alteration starts.

Defined Scope

Each project is documented with a written alteration scope, and concept approval is required before remodelling begins. This keeps the finished work aligned with the agreed design.

Material Reuse

We look for ways to reuse usable fabric and trim where possible, especially in remodelling and upcycling projects. When suitable, original thread and trim are matched based on availability.

Final Review

Every garment is checked again at collection, and small finishing adjustments can be handled carefully if needed. The goal is a neat result that suits the garment and the agreed design.
